ShoreScan Solutions is an authorized dealer for Canon USA and ColorTrac leaders in desk top and wide format imaging products.

Our goal is to match the user and task with the right machine.

We sell solutions, not machines. So our goal is to make the right fit, install and configure each scanner (some exceptions) to our webscan application and train during the initial installation. Optional installation of the scanner software is available as well.

Our two primary scanners are the Canon DR-225c and the DR-M140.

Here is what they can do:

B/W, color, duplex, auto page sizing, text orientation (auto rotate) and scan up to 600 dpi. Extended warrantee and service plans from Canon are also available.

For the medium to higher volume user

The scanner can do 40 pages per minute, 6,000 page daily volume, 50 page ADF and a 1 year factory warrantee. For the regular size office, this is all the scanner you will need.

For the low volume user

The scanner can do 25 pages per minute, daily volume of 1,500 pages, 30 page ADF and a 1 year factory warrantee. This is my boss’s scanner.

Our government agencies have decades of plans, but are limited in budget; so we lease ColorTrac 42” scanners. The machine (pictured here) is complete and only requires AC. After the staff is trained, PFD files can be off-loaded to disk and then uploaded to the ShoreScan account.

Canon Supports Regional
Reseller ShoreScan Solutions

The Canon DR-M260 scanner is a vertical feed high speed scanner capable of 60 pages per minute. The page size is auto sensing letter/legal and will scan both sides on the same pass. This scanner is ideal for larger projects and “power users”.

Recently Canon did a “roadshow” stop at the BWI Marriott to do a meet-and-greet of local resellers and to show some new scanning products. We really liked the Canon check scanner family (CR-25, 55 and 80). While ShoreScan doesn’t interface with these scanners, they could be a huge help processing tax and water bill payments in the accounting office.
